Your sofa
is hiding
something

It looks clean. A vacuum only ever lifts what sits on top, and the rest works its way down into the pile and stays there. We come to your door and pull it back out. Carpet, upholstery and mattresses, anywhere in the five boroughs.

Hot-water extraction wand pulling dirt from a sofa cushion in a New York apartment
Field record · hot-water extraction
Method

Extraction, not a surface wipe

A vacuum takes what sits on top. Hot-water extraction forces solution into the pile and pulls it back out with everything that was living down there. That is the difference between fabric that looks clean and fabric that is clean.

  • Solution matched to the fiber, tested on the piece before we start
  • Safe around children and pets once it is dry
  • Pet accidents and set-in spots pre-treated, then flushed out
  • Rugs, stairs, sectionals and headboards, not just open floor
Sequence

How a job runs

Four phases. No surprise line items, no upsell at the door.

PHASE 01

Recon

Send your ZIP code and tell us the item. A photo helps a lot, and you can just text it over.

PHASE 02

Brief

You get a free cost estimate back in writing, plus the date and time that suits you. No obligation.

PHASE 03

Deploy

We arrive on schedule with truck-mounted equipment. All work happens on-site, nothing leaves your home.

PHASE 04

Extract

Hot-water extraction pulls the dirt out of the fibers. We clear out, and the fabric dries the same day.

Questions we get
on every job

How long does it take for upholstery to dry?

Carpet or rug cleaning drying time typically ranges from 3 to 6 hours. It may dry sooner or later, depending on the state of your rug or carpet, the ventilation of the space where it dries, and other factors. The drying time for upholstery cleaning is 5 to 24 hours and is determined by the condition of the upholstery and the type of fabric. For a mattress, based on its condition, drying time ranges from 3 to 24 hours.

Can professional cleaning get rid of the pet odor?

Yes. Sometimes cats and dogs have accidents and while we can't guarantee 100% removal every time, there is a lot we can do to restore the freshness to your upholstery.

Is it possible to get rid of all of the stains?

It depends on the stain. Some are difficult or simply impossible to completely remove, but we always use advanced stain removal processes that are not available over-the-counter. Our success rate on stain removal is very high for all different kinds of stains.

How often should furniture be cleaned?

It's best to do this at least once a year if you don't have pets or little children at home. With pets, kids or just a lot of visitors, it's a good idea to have your upholstery cleaned three or four times per year at the very least.
